Tell me more about Pearce MarketingEmma Pearce set up Pearce Marketing Consultants in 2008 to offer businesses an affordable and flexible outsourced marketing solution. We provide marketing consultancy from our base in Eastbourne, East Sussex. Emma is an experienced strategic and tactical marketer who has been working in commercial marketing positions since 1994. Her career has included working for small to medium sized companies and large corporates (e.g. IBM). Emma offers practical and tailored marketing consultancy to help your business develop. Tactical marketing campaigns and activities have included new corporate branding, online marketing (an ecommerce web site and pay-per-click (PPC) campaign), text messaging and email marketing, generating sales lead lists, direct mail and brochures, writing white papers, market research, PR, exhibitions and events, livery, marketing guides and support for resellers, etc. In addition to devising marketing plans and delivering campaigns, Emma has worked on sales process improvement, CRM (customer relationship management) and training projects in sales, merchandising and customer service. She is working/has worked as a marketing consultant with various companies operating in the business to business (B2B) and business to consumer (B2C) sectors. These include manufacturing companies (eg timber, scientific glassware, swimming pools), an online fashion retailer and companies in the IT, pharmaceuticals, professional services (eg architect, legal trainer) and builders merchant markets. Emma Pearce is on the Database of Preferred Suppliers of Consulting Services for MAS (Manufacturing Advisory Service) in the South East. (There is often funding for manufacturing companies for marketing services via MAS.) Emma's approach focuses on good project planning and management to ensure that opportunities to increase your bottom line are not missed. Enthusiasm, professionalism and working to time and budget are a given. Emma is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and her specific marketing qualifications include a CIM Diploma, BA Hons Marketing degree and HND in Business/Marketing. She is regularly updating her marketing knowledge with additional marketing training and visiting conferences and exhibitions. Her exposure to the testing realities of daily business is maintained by working as a marketing manager for a range of companies. Emma is also a member of a number of business networks including the ProfitNet Manufacturing Group in Hastings (since it began in 2004), the Eastbourne & District Chamber of Commerce, the Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce, the Bexhill Chamber of Commerce and Tourism and The Womens Business Clubs. Commercial BackgroundEmma spent 4 years working in Hastings, East Sussex, on key strategic business projects and launching and managing the marketing function for Stamco Timber (wholesale), Stamco Building Supplies and Karelia Wood Flooring (national wood flooring business selling to trade and retail). For 2 years prior to this Emma was the Business Broker at Ten Sixty Six Enterprise supporting local businesses on various projects. Emma was a Senior Management Consultant for Chorleywood Consulting for 4 years. Although she was based in London, she worked with clients in Europe and Thailand on business and marketing project in the telecoms sector (particularly in CRM and Billing). Emma has also been a marketing consultant to an IT management consultancy and a telecoms software supplier in the UK. In 1997, Emma joined IBM New Zealand as part of a global marketing team for a telecoms software product. She lived and worked in New Zealand for 18 months. Prior to this Emma was on the marketing team at Linklaters and Paines, a global law firm based in London, worked for an IT firm in Sydney, Australia and spent a year with Wellcome pharmaceuticals in London.
