Who are ECK?
ECK is a bookkeeping company based in Hailsham, East Sussex. Helping self-employed workers, small businesses and individuals earning a rental income as a landlord. Services include bookkeeping, company formation and annual accounts, VAT, Payroll, CIS and Tax Returns.
Marketing Goals
ECK wanted to improve the performance of their website as well as their website copy. They wanted to achieve new leads and customers from their website (which was being redesigned by a local web agency), so they can start to expand the business and potentially recruit new members of staff locally.

The Plan
Our work started with a marketing strategy meeting to really understand the business, the personality of the owner, Elizabeth, their objectives, the target market and more.
It was clear from the initial session that Elizabeth wanted more customers – ideally coming from the website. The marketing tactic to achieve this is SEO (search engine optimisation).
We first began by undertaking keyword research to really identify what potential prospects were searching for. Based on this, we were then able to go ahead and write the text for the SEO fields and optimise the website copy.
How ECK Bloomed
The SEO work was uploaded to the website and within a week ECK received a lead from someone searching on Google for their services. ECK are currently on page 1 of Google for 36 key search phrases for their business.
Three months on, they regularly receive two leads per week from their website. This has allowed the business to move to a new bigger office space and employ a new team member.
