Who are Zebedees?
Zebedees is a nursery catering company specialising in creating and delivering delicious and nutritious meals across the South East. Based in East Sussex, Zebedees supplies over 8,000 hot nursery meals and 3,500 afternoon teas every day!
Marketing Goals
Zebedees were already a well-established and successful nursery food provider, but they were looking for more structure and precision with their marketing and to grow their customer base in a competitive marketplace. The Zebedees team wanted to form a clear and comprehensive marketing strategy and have help with executing it.
The Plan
Our work started with a strategy session which enabled us to clarify their target market, messaging, competitors, sales processes and more.
We came away with an action plan to get key marketing activities underway, with efforts from both us and the Zebedees team. The tactics included customer research, SEO, a website review, email marketing, social media ads and an audit of their social accounts.
And as Zebedees are continuing with delivering some marketing activities in-house, we provided them with online collaborative marketing plan and scheduling documents, so we can all keep track and monitor progress.
How Zebedees Bloomed
As a result of our SEO work and the website updates, their website saw a 62.3% increase in users after just a few weeks of the SEO being live.
Zebedees are now on page 1 of Google for 43 keywords. Their SEO will continue to improve thanks to our SEO maintenance work and the Zebedees team posting regular blogs.
They now use the branded email template that we designed, their database is growing and regular communications are sent out.
And even though it’s early days with their social media ads, the team is seeing a considerable increase in the amount of enquiries and a number of bookings.
And of course, most importantly, Zebedees now feel confident and in control of their marketing, with the reassurance that we are always on hand to give them professional marketing advice.
