Marketing Graduate (or graduate with significant marketing modules on alternative course) with some marketing work experience, clean driving license.


Marketing Executive/Marketing Assistant looking for a more interesting and broader role.



CIM Diploma, 1 year of marketing work experience (B2B or B2C)


IT & Marketing Skills

  • IT literate – quick, knowledgeable and fast to learn all types of applications
  • Experience of using Email, Calendar, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides or Microsoft equivalent (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Plus familiar with cloud storage for documents/images – eg Google Drive.
  • An eye for design, interest and experience in creating imagery and video for social posts and email newsletters. Ideally used graphics packages before – eg from Canva to Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience of using social media for business, updating websites (eg WordPress) and using email marketing software (eg Mailchimp) would be beneficial


Marketing Duties

To assist the Marketing Consultant/MD and Pearce Marketing team with creating, planning and delivering cost-effective and measurable marketing projects that meet each client’s individual objectives.  

For example:

  • brainstorming ideas
  • researching competitors and markets
  • customer research activities on behalf of clients – eg telephone interviews with their customers and prospects
  • marketing planning
  • creating a marketing action plan and schedule of activities
  • liaising with graphic and web designers, printers, copywriters, signwriters, promotional merchandise suppliers etc. by phone, email and face to face
  • implementing/co-ordinating/managing marketing activities – eg brand and website projects, writing copy, email marketing (templates, content), social media (setup, creating and writing posts, advertising), SEO (search engine optimisation) research and writing SEO fields for websites, brochures/leaflets, direct mail, exhibition planning etc.
  • monitoring analytics, recording and reporting against KPI’s
  • preparing client reports
  • overall project coordination and client communications

Plus be able to:

  • Work independently or alongside the Marketing Consultant/MD and other members of the team in the office or at their home, client premises and other venues when required.  (Need to have WIFI at home.)
  • Attend client meetings, networking events and exhibitions
  • Participate in internal team meetings regarding client projects
  • Assist with and be part of ongoing learning and development regarding marketing opportunities that arise via new functionality on social media and in other areas
  • Develop the skills and confidence to deliver social media and other marketing training for clients
  • Assist with developing the marketing activities for Pearce Marketing


Administrative Duties

  • To provide the necessary administrative support for marketing projects for clients, or brief our marketing administrator to do this where appropriate
  • To assist the MD/marketing team with completing all the necessary internal general and marketing administrative tasks for the business to function smoothly and grow successfully.  For example:
    • answering the telephone if office administrator is not available
    • monitoring and responding to emails
    • time recording
    • updating the client database
    • updating our website, writing blogs and social media posts, creating our email newsletter etc.
    • creating document templates and process checklists etc.

  • Excellent command of the English language – spoken and written
  • Confident and clear phone manner
  • Confident and natural face to face manner speaking to individuals or groups
  • Methodical, organised, structured, follow processes, record-keeping
  • Juggle multiple tasks/projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Communication skills:
    • listening, questioning, suggesting/proposing, brainstorming, clarifying, note taking
  • Prepare well (always ensure well briefed)
  • Attention to detail, high quality of work, use initiative
  • Punctual to work and meet client deadlines
  • Generate/put forward creative ideas
